Edible Planet is a new, community based cooperative corporation with the primary function of increasing food security/sovereignty in communities by creating local avenues that facilitate access to a broader, more diverse variety of open-pollinated, organic, fresh, nutrient dense fruits, vegetables, berries and herbs for individuals and families.

Scientific research has always understood the relation between diet and health and we feel that Nature provides us with food sources that, when grown in a truly organic manner and consumed fresh, provide the immune system with all of the tools for creating a holistic state of health and vitality.

With an eye towards sustainability, we realize that proper care of the Earth automatically involves proper care of individuals and that the physical, mental and emotional health and vitality of the individual is directly proportional to our ability to be proper Stewards of the planet, our communities, our families and ourselves.

This website is in the early stages of development and will be updated with our “adventures” in the processes of increasing community food security as our cooperative grows.
